RE: JT Strong Arms - WOW!!!!
Hey, from the detail I can make out kb strongarms look to be very professional made and detail. You may want to go into competition with JTs?
Look great.
RE: JT Strong Arms - WOW!!!!
Since I originally asked for assistance from the forum on use of the JTs/Eliminators, it is unreal how many positive responses I have seen and likewise how many new RVers have just installed them.
Down South they evidently haven't caught on yet. In fact I probably will be the first one having them installed that I have ever seen. Seems like you RVers up N and W got smart on these stablizers earily on. For sure they definately do the trick. Makes you wonder why the ole RV sellers don't give you a hint about these up front versus having to stumble into them.

RE: Fifth Wheel Stablizers
I just installed the Eliminator Stablizer from Ultra-Fab. They have locked the trailer down and taken all the movement out. I think the key to success here is the need some weight to the rear once you lock in, then lock in the front and in turn drop the nose a hair down thus having weight locking in both the rear and front stablizers.
Seem to work great at this point.
I went with the Ultr-Fab version of The Eliminator. These are exact in appearance and features as the JTs but cheaper. I got these on sale at Camping World a few weeks ago at $249.
RE: JT Strong Arms - WOW!!!!
I just installed The Eliminator Stablizers from Ultra-Fab Products. These are identical to the JTs in both appearance, structure, etc.
Easily installed and for sure we can tell a big difference now in stability. All the movement seems to be locked down.
The Eliminator cost was a good bit cheaper than JTs thus my reason for going with them. At Camping World they were on sale at $249 a few weeks ago.
RE: Leaving trailer hitched
I currently have a Grand Junction and have done it with no trouble. In the past with an another fifth wheel (Colorado) I noticed that it put one of the slides in a somewhat bind a couple times thus I quit doing it with that trailer. Probably all depends on the particular trailer. As long as there isn't a slide bind, I would say you are good to go.
Fifth Wheel Stablizers
I have been reading about the various fifth wheel stablizers, i.e. JT Strong Arm and the Plug-It-Right Stablizer system. The first looks to be a heavier system that the latter? Cheaper also.
I have a rear electric stablizer on a Grand Junction. I couldn't see for sure if either of these systems would work with the rear electric jack stablizers. I have used the KingPin Stablizer, wheel locks, etc. and still get motion when one is moving around in the trailer. Continiously having to readjust the rear stablizer to get max stablization.
Does anyone have any experience with the JTs or the UPlugIt brand? If so your thoughts and recommendations.
Thanks, Glen, Terry, MS
